Nissan Qashqai / Qashqai +2 (2007 -) Bosch ABS ESP Pump / Module Repairs
The Nissan Qashqai and Qashqai+2 from 2007 onwards is fitted with the new Bosch 8.0 ABS / ESP pump module unit. This type of Bosch ABS unit is fitted to quite a few vehicles including BMW, Nissan & Vag group cars.
The Bosch 8.0 ABS / ESP controller is a common failing part and very expensive to replace if you’re looking for a new unit. New replacements for this ABS controller will require programming at an extra cost and are only available from the main dealer. Second-hand used replacements are not recommended because these units will have a shorter life expectancy compared to a rebuilt ABS unit.
If your Nissan Qashqai ABS pump has failed, you may be experiencing some of the following common problems:
